Mac n Cheese Finance is an educational magazine about crypto airdrops, wallets, and token basics. We write for beginners. Short sentences, everyday words, and honest numbers. If a topic sounds scary, we break it down until it isn't.

Our history, the honest version

This domain has a past, and we don't hide it. In 2021, macncheese.finance was the home of a DeFi token project called XVMC. Archived pages describe it as a project on Binance Smart Chain, governed by the XVMC token. Its main growth engine was a referral airdrop: hundreds of unique referral links, each one promising free tokens for signing up and sharing.

That campaign looked a lot like the referral-farm patterns we now warn readers about. Attention faded, and the project went quiet. We tell that story in full in our XVMC history article, and we explain the mechanics in our guide to referral airdrops. The short version: the domain that once ran an airdrop now teaches you how those campaigns really work, from the inside out.

What we do now

We publish two guides a week across three sections: the Airdrop Kitchen, Wallet Basics, and Token Stories. We never run airdrops. We never promote live airdrops. We don't sell tokens, take referral fees from crypto projects, or manage anyone's money. When we mention a dollar figure, we label it as approximate, because token prices move fast and old numbers go stale like bread.

What we are not

We are not financial advisers. Nothing on this site is investment advice, tax advice, or legal advice. Crypto is risky, and plenty of people lose money in it. Our job is to explain how things work so you can make calmer decisions. Read our risk disclaimer for the full picture, and if you spot an error anywhere on the site, please tell us through the contact page. We fix mistakes and note the correction.
